MSIG will develop the first technological solution on the market for the intelligent management of emergencies in the industrial parks of Alcalá de Guadaíra.

On June 16, 2022, the City Council of Alcalá de Guadaira awarded to the joint venture formed by MSIG and Telefónica Engineering and Security the project to implement the solution for Modeling, Simulation and Intelligent Emergency Management in the Industrial Parks of Alcalá de Guadaíra.

The award of this Innovative Public Procurement was formalized with the signing of the contract between the parties on July 17, 2022, to develop the first technological solution on the market to carry out an intelligent management of emergencies in the industrial parks of Alcalá de Guadaira.

The main objective of intelligent emergency management is to improve coordination, efficiency and early activation of the planned action protocols.

This solution will also represent an innovation of international character, since to date there was no platform for Collaborative Emergency Management in Industrial Parks that incorporates the functionalities of:

  • Monitoring, simulation and continuous evaluation of interrelated multi-hazard scenarios in real time.
  • Collaborative Emergency Plan that includes shared information on hazards and resources.
  • Real-time scenario visualization with GIS technology.
  • Support for notifications, warnings and alerts to companies, as well as key actors in the management of emergencies and security in Industrial Parks.

The emergency management is part of the Smart Industrial Park Management Platform (SBP) with a total budget of 5,026,529.63 euros, 80% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and will be deployed until December 2023.
