Victor Bañuls, first Spaniard on ISCRAM's board of directors

Víctor Amadeo Bañuls Silvera, Professor of Business Organization at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide and Managing Partner of MSIG, has been elected member of the Board of Directors of the International ISCRAM Association at the general assembly held at Penn State University (State College, USA).

Professor Bañuls is the first Spaniard to hold a position on the Board and will now be responsible for Publications and Academic Standards. ISCRAM is the English acronym for "Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management", and is one of the academic and professional communities of reference in the field of emergency management worldwide.

Likewise, the ISCRAM International Conference is one of the most prestigious in this field. The primary mission of the ISCRAM Association is to foster a community dedicated to promoting research and development, knowledge sharing and the deployment of information systems for crisis management, including the social, technical and practical aspects of information and communication systems, used or to be used in all phases of emergency, disaster and crisis management.
